At what age did you stop bathing your son?

My son is 7 and I still bath him. My sister says I should have stopped long ago. Am I behind?

Around 6 mine started wanting privacy and I followed his lead. Let the child guide it, there is no fixed rule.

I supervise from the door but let him wash himself now that he is 7. Independence with a safety net.

You are not behind at all. Every child is different. When he asks for privacy, give it, and until then you are fine.
