Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information iMumZone (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account details, if you create an account, we store your email address and any profile information you choose to add (display name, parenting stage, interests).
• Content you submit, stories, votes, saved items and newsletter sign-ups.
• Usage data, via analytics cookies, we collect anonymised data about how the site is used to help us improve it.

How we use your information

• To provide your account and personalise your experience.
• To publish stories you choose to share (after review).
• To send our newsletter, if you opt in (you can unsubscribe anytime).
• To understand and improve how iMumZone is used.

Analytics & advertising

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site usage and Google AdSense to display advertising. These services may set cookies and process data in line with Google's own privacy policies. See our Cookie Policy for details and controls.

Safe Relationships checks

Our Safe Relationships resource includes two private self-checks (a Relationship Safety Check and a Relationship Behaviour Check). We have designed these so that your individual answers are processed only in your browser while you use the check. We do not require your name, email, phone number or any account to use them, and your answers are not saved to an iMumZone account, written to a database, or stored in your browser after you leave or refresh the page.

Your answers and your result are never placed in the page address, shared in link previews, or sent to analytics or advertising services. We do not load Google AdSense on the Safe Relationships pages, so visiting them does not add you to any advertising audience. Like most websites, limited anonymous technical information (such as a page view of the address you visited, which does not contain your answers) may still be processed. If you are worried that someone may be monitoring your device, please use a device the other person cannot access where possible.

To understand how helpful the checks are overall, we keep anonymous, combined counts of how many checks reach each general outcome level. These counts contain no answers, no categories and nothing that identifies you — there are no individual records, only running totals — and they are used only to see overall patterns, never for advertising or to review any individual.

How we store your data

Account and content data is stored securely with our infrastructure provider (Supabase). We never sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your account data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under GDPR or similar laws.
