Your Baby's First Three Months
Every baby develops at their own pace, but here are general milestones.
Physical Development
- Lifting head briefly during tummy time
- Beginning to follow objects with eyes
- Bringing hands to mouth
- Reacting to loud sounds
Social Development
- Beginning to smile at people
- Trying to look at parents
- Making cooing sounds
When to Talk to Your Doctor
If your baby isn't responding to sounds or showing interest in faces by 2-3 months, mention it at your next checkup.
