Gentle Sleep Support
Sleep can be one of the hardest parts of early parenthood. There's no magic fix, but a calm, predictable wind-down helps signal to little bodies that it's time to rest.
Quick soothers
- A consistent bedtime routine
- Dim lights an hour before bed
- White noise
- A calm, connected wind-down
A predictable routine
The same few steps each night, bath, story, cuddle, bed, become powerful sleep cues. Keep it short, warm and consistent.
Set the scene
Dim the lights in the hour before bed and keep the room cool and dark. White noise can soften household sounds and mimic the womb for babies.
Connection over pressure
Overtired children fight sleep hardest. Watch for early tired signs, and lead with calm connection rather than battles, your steadiness is soothing.
When to see a doctor
- Snoring, pauses in breathing, or gasping in sleep
- Extreme daytime sleepiness or difficulty waking
- Sleep problems affecting your own wellbeing, please reach out
- Any sudden change in a baby's sleep or breathing
